MY IMAN MONTESSORI
Our goal is to provide an Islamically rich environment where children are actively engaged in their work, and where the staff acts as a guide to educate the whole child.
My Iman Montessori strives to provide the highest quality education in the area. We offer a safe, nurturing, and creative environment for children ages 3 to 9. At My Iman Montessori our staff are the key to the success of our school and are responsible for developing a caring, compassionate, and challenging environment to fit the developmental needs, diversity, and unique characteristics of each child. We attempt to meet the individual needs of each student by encouraging positive experiences, establishing an environment where children can move freely, reinforcing behavioral expectations, and providing freedom for individual choice.
We believe that all children, given the right environment, will be successful in all aspects of their lives. As such, we are fully committed to the Maria Montessori Philosophy. Our goal is to establish a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where children can be actively engaged and work independently with hands on materials that stimulate all five senses. The materials in the classroom communicate complex concepts in a concrete way and are organized into five curriculum areas: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math and Culture. The Teacher acts as a guide for the children to develop the skills and abilities they will need to prepare them for their academic future, and beyond. We believe that children develop a sense of joy when they are able to do things for themselves.
